stem cell research consists of taking tissue from ur spinal cord and implanting them in places when u hav tissue disorder like cancer.. and it gets cured.. where is the killing?nowadays stem cell banks are going to be established where cells will be stored right from day 1 … so its beneficial… where is the harm?

Stem cell research doesn’t kill innocent life. It works with blastocysts, fertilized eggs.
All of us started our lives as a single celled zygote. This cell divides and forms two cells that in turn divide and so on. Pretty soon, in about 5 days, there is hollow ball of cells called the blastocyst.
The blastocyst is smaller than a grain of sand and contains two types of cells, the trophoblast and the inner cell mass. Embryonic stem cells are the cells that make up the inner cell mass.
If you’re so concerned that those are “life”, why aren’t you out there picketing fertilization clinics, who merely discard the blastocysts that aren’t implanted? Literally wash them down the drain. Why not let them be used in research that could save lives?

If everyone has done something bad, if everyone is corrupted, and this is your rational for not “aborting” fetal stem cells to help heal the sick, then you also are corrupted and, in this rational, are not “worth saving” because of your corruption. Yet if I were a paramedic, I would try to save you if you were bleeding to death because your life is worth preserving.
A plate of stem cells is neither “innocent” nor guilty. It is not conscious, it is not moral, it is not any greater than an insect. And it is disposable. Period. Especially when the life of a developed human being (such as you) is in the balance.
If you pray, pray that there will always be people who eschew pseudo-Christian morals to save the lives of people like yourself.

If every one is corrupted. Every one has once been a fetus so the fetus used for research will soon be corrupted any way. So using the fetus for stem sell research is saving a life from corruption and helping to advance science so us corrupted people can live longer.

In their personal lives–they may have someone dear to them that would gain mobility from such research and positive progress–Its sad that we cant take on board everything–Maybe when Computers take control in the near future–we can obtain an un-biased view which allows things to be researched that cause personal friction now–I hope that somehow Positive results will come from Cancer Research–as Im sure we,ve all lost a loved one to its Ravages.
