even though its proven to save lives and make lives better. Think about… that unborn baby will never live so use it to save a life…. think of the happiness for a man/woman who was in a wheelchair for most thier lives, imagine their joy when they stand again. imagine a young child dying from a disease and then be given stemcells to help his body and muscle grow and he survive… there are so many more pros than cons

You have swallowed the mis-information by the religious and ultra right and anti-abortionists which has no basis in fact.
There is no unborn baby. If it’s unborn, and is undeveloped and is still in egg stage, it is not a baby!
Stem cell research uses sterilized left over egg cells not used to impregnate a woman – it is little sludgy looking mess (not a foetus) in a petrie dish.

I don’t have issue with Adult stem cell research, just embryonic. There have been more scientific break throughs using adult stem cells.
I think that if they were to use embryonic cells for research then they should be bought from fertility clinics whose patients had left overs that would just be disposed. They should not harvest new ones.
It is not ok to kill an unborn baby.
